A corollary to eLance is oDesk. What is the big differentiator, to be, between the two is that oDesk takes random screenshots of your contractor’s screen six times an hour, so you can ensure that the person you’re paying is working on the project which you’re paying them to do.
A cheap logo design alternative for eLance is Fiverr.
Thanks for the tips Jason. I actually use Odesk much more than E Lance and think both of them offer a good service. The key with any outsourcing is becoming an expert at communicating with your contractors. As far as Fiverr, though I love the service for creative and fun stuff and even some work that’s lower on the importance scale, in the end you get what you pay for.
